Petroleum Minister M Veerappa Moily grabbed the headlines today through his unique campaign for fuel conservation by travelling on public transport every Wednesday. He had asked all oil ministry officials and public sector staff to do the same. After taking the metro to work today, the minister told a bunch of journalist, "I have specifically asked my driver not to take the car out of the garage. If he does so, then, even I may fall to the temptation of using it some time during the day."
