The Bihar School Examination Board's matriculation (Class X) examination got underway on Wednesday amid tight security. The exams are being video recorded, and Section 144 — which prohibits assembly of more than four people in an area — is clamped on a radius of 200 metres around examination centres. Students entering an exam hall are being frisked twice — first, outside at the entrance gate of examination hall and a second time inside the hall. There is one invigilator for every 25 students. No one is allowed to enter the examination hall with a mobile phone; only the centre superintendent can carry a mobile phone inside.
