Bird calling

Apart from his hardcore political engagements, Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson and former civil aviation minister, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, has another pressing duty back home. He and his family are busy taking care of a peahen, which has been coming to his residence for the past four years to nest. The bird doesn’t stay with the family permanently, but only comes to Rudy’s garden in Lutyen’s Delhi’s Shahjahan Road to nest. “I don’t know where this bird comes from, but our entire family, especially my wife and daughter, get busy looking after her. We can’t miss this duty at any cost,” said Rudy.
