As the seminar “Untold stories of Demonetisation - its impact on Indian Economy” got underway, the legal cell of the All India Congress Committee welcomed Supreme Court advocate and former United Progressive Alliance minister Kapil Sibal with a bouquet. Sibal asked why he was the only one being presented with a bouquet. “This is like homecoming for you, sir,” said senior lawyer Rajiv Saxena, who welcomed Sibal on the dais. Besides Sibal, former finance minister P Chidambaram and former deputy chairman of the erstwhile Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia also spoke at the seminar.
