Although Parliament is currently in recess and will reopen only on April 16, MPs are having a busy time in Delhi. All the department-related standing committees of Parliament are regularly holding meetings in the Capital. While some committees are reviewing demands for grants, others have taken up specific issues related to ministries. According to sources, the committees have been told to prepare reports by the middle of April so that those could be presented in the first few days of the second phase of the Budget session.
