Indians are now used to Chinese goods figuring in almost every sphere of their life. How pervasive can be seen in fruit shops all over south India, which are now stocked with Chinese apples. The apples are imported by Indian companies based in Chennai from the Shengdong export zone in China and then distributed to south Indian cities. The question now is with Chinese selling their apples at rates far cheaper than India's Himachal apples, what will happen to Himachal's farmers?
