College first, duty later

Anyone who’s studied in Delhi will tell you that to be an alumnus of St Stephen’s College is something to be really proud of. So, when the college organised a golf tournament at the Delhi Golf Club, the event was attended by various important alumnus of the college including top bureaucrats and judges. While many left for office after a token round or two, several bureaucrats continued to play on till well after office began. College first, duty later.
