Members of Parliament have their peculiarities. Jaya Bachchan, a Rajya Sabha member, is known to keep a steady supply of chocolates and toffees that she liberally distributes among her colleagues in the House. Nominated member Suresh Gopi, a Malayalam actor, has taken to break the ice with his colleagues by distributing biscuits and tea. Gopi keeps tea bags with him, asks for hot water and offers tea to Parliament members. He also keeps two kinds of biscuits, which include the sugar-free variety for members who are diabetic, and there are several of
them. Some days ago, however, members were surprised to find Gopi distributing laddoos.
