In the land of the Holy Cow, dung is wealth. A full 2 per cent of the value of India’s agriculture sector is attributed to cow dung. At 1999-2000 prices, that’s a value of around Rs 10,000 crore, a figure that most captains of industry would die for, and around 1.5 times what India paid for the Gorshkov.
