Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said he was not perturbed by his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal's five-day visit to Punjab that begins today. With the Assembly polls slated for early 2017, many "seasonal birds" were expected to visit the state, Badal told a gathering in Chandigarh. He claimed the visit would hardly make a difference because the alliance between his Shiromani Akali Dal and the Bharatiya Janata Party was poised to register its third consecutive win in the state and form the government. Don't for a minute imagine he is a bad host: Badal reiterated that in a democracy every leader was free to visit any state.
