Some leaders of Uttar Pradesh's ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) are using Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, on September 18, as an opportunity to launch an attack on him. Senior SP leader and UP Cabinet Minister Azam Khan took a dig at Modi, saying he was not just a leader of this country, but also an international leader, having visited a host of countries in the past year or so. The PM is expected to take off for another overseas trip soon - to New York and California's Silicon Valley.
