A member of the King Club, the frequent flyer reward club attached to the troubled Kingfisher Airlines, planned a vacation after he received an e-mail from the Club offering a free return ticket with the purchase of one ticket for a journey in December. The free ticket, the mail indicated, was to be availed of in the second fortnight of January 2012. The member replied to the mail expressing interest in the scheme, but, no surprise, there was no response.
