Going gets tough for Kiran Chaudhary

Bansilal's daughter-in-law Kiran Chaudhary, who is trying to keep the family pride intact in the Tosham Assembly constituency where she is contesting the Assembly election, is working hard. She was injured in an election rally where stones were thrown at her by one-time supporters and she lost consciousness, she was so badly hurt. Undeterred, she has taken to door-to-door campaigning along with her daughter Shruti, a former Member of Parliament. Supporters of the Congress though, are unimpressed. They say she should have brought drinking water to the villages - and if she hasn't been able to do that, at least spoken to them politely….
