Social activist Anna Hazare has found followers among some bureaucrats too. Director General Health Services R K Srivastava, who called a press conference on Thursday to reject a report published by medical journal Lancet on the presence of a “superbug” in Delhi’s water, drew comparisons between Hazare’s fight against corruption and the health ministry’s tussle with the Western theory on India’s “superbug’. Before the conference started, Srivastava told journalists that Hazare was also fighting a battle against a “superbug,” which, in this case, was corruption.
