Viewership of the Salman Khan-anchored reality show — and therefore the channel’s ratings — are expected to soar after Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray has raised objections against the entry of two Pakistanis — model and actor Veena Malik and cross dresser Begum Nawaiz Ali alias Ali Salim Khusra. Thackeray has indicated that his party would handle the issue “in its own way”. Shades of My Name Is Khan, the Shahrukh Khan starrer that received huge pre-launch publicity after the Shiv Sena ran a campaign against the Bollywood superstar for his comment on Pakistani players.
