An image makeover was probably overdue. Mired in a huge admission and recruitment scam for some years now, the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board or MP Vyapam has decided to reward teachers who detect fraud in examinations, honouring six of them recently. These teachers, who were on invigilation duty for various public service examinations in the state, were awarded in cash and given citation for their service at a function. On its official website, the board calls itself PEB (Professional Examination Board) and avoids the moniker "Vyapam".
