At a recent conference, GAIL Chairman and Managing Director UD Choubey thought he was being cool when he greeted the audience with a ‘Jai Ho’, the theme song of the film Slumdog Millionaire. To his utter embarrassment, journalists asked him if he was just being pro-Congress, given that the party had bought the copyright to the song for using in its election campaign. Choubey was then at pains to explain that he was just wishing the Natural Gas Vehicles Conference success.
