By his own admission, Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar would have pursued a career in science had he not become a politician. He said this at an event to flag off the Science Express Biodiversity Special train - a biodiversity exhibition on wheels - on Monday. "If this special train had been running while I was a studying in Pune, I would have definitely taken up science," Javadekar told the gathering. Significantly, however, he swiftly clarified, "Not that I have any regrets being a politician."
