He may be chief minister of Pondicherry, but V Vaithilingam had to stand in a line to get his pass for the Rajya Sabha. While the CM was waiting, CPI leader D Raja happened to see him and then asked the staff to quickly make the pass for him. The staffers obliged and Vaithilingam along with a colleague then made his way into the Rajya Sabha.
