After Kashmiris and Biharis, retired Supreme Court judge Markandey Katju seems to have now angered Tamilians. Earlier this week, Katju tweeted his "love" for ailing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. He followed it up with a long Facebook post on his meeting with her, which was picked up by the media.
On Thursday, Katju tweeted, "As a joke I mentioned in an FB post that in my younger days I was in love with Jayalalithaa. But a big hue and cry was raised over it. I had thought that Tamilians are smarter than Biharis in understanding jokes, but now I am reconsidering my opinion."
