As the date for the Delhi Assembly elections draws near, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying every trick in the book to urge swing voters and fence-sitters to throw in their lot with the "winner". Residents of Patparganj (east Delhi) were in for a surprise on Wednesday when they found a pamphlet inserted in their morning newspaper. It had a screenshot of a television channel (India News) forecasting that BJP candidate Vinod Kumar Binny, who was earlier with the Aam Aadmi Party, was slated to win by a comfortable margin.
