It’s puzzling to see all the top global car producers suddenly recalling cars in such large numbers. Is there something wrong with the outsourcing model that companies are increasingly following or are quality standards getting more stringent?
India also needs to strengthen its quality standards — the Maruti A-Star recall seems to be an exception.
