This refers to the editorial "Mr Gandhi's failures" (May 19). It is indeed wrong on the part of the Congress to now blame its electoral debacle on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's inability to communicate with the people. Did it take 10 long years for the party leadership to realise this? Anybody, even with a limited experience of working with Singh, should have been able to quickly figure this out. Why did the party persist with him as prime minister?
