The solution does not always lie in economics. It also lies in the simple crime and punishment mechanism, something we are aware of since childhood. We cannot merely talk of corruption in terms of paying a bribe for a railway ticket when it has hit such mega levels. There are people who believe that “corruption” is the only way. This belief will change only if people are caught, properties are confiscated and the guilty are sent to jail.
