The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)'s unparalleled landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly elections is not just about AAP. It is about the hope for change expressed by a disgruntled public against an uncaring establishment. It is good that this message goes out from the capital, so it is watched keenly by all other parties in the country and by the bureaucrats manning offices.
There is a good chance that more people will now realise the power of their votes and - equally important - new and clean young leaders may feel encouraged to lead and channelise the energies of the people in the fight against corruption.
