This refers to the editorial "Pointing fingers" (November 14). It is true that some of the current problems that have cropped up are because of the Comptroller and Auditor General and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioning policy matters, and not distinguishing between policy-making and policing. But the government, on its part, should come up with clear and transparent policies that don't provide room for corruption. It is important to give more power to CBI and free it from political interference. The main setback in our system is that there is nothing to fix responsibility and accountability. This is the perfect opportunity for the government to streamline an administrative system that would own responsibility.
