Thank you for publishing the review of the book on Hedy Lamarr, the noted Hollywood actress of the 1950s and 1960s (“Hedy Lamarr’s WWII adventure,”December 19). Few of her admirers knew about this other interesting side of her life. We knew her as the actress who, along with Victor Mature in Samson and Delilah, stole the hearts of all the young men, at least in our city of Kolkata. She was a beauty and also a very charming actress.
