The people of India have given the mandate to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its alliances in these general elections. The voters have taught the Congress a good lesson for the party's misdeeds and poor performance. The new government now has tough tasks ahead. To start with, serious steps need to be taken to tackle the menace of terrorism. Some important steps are also required to put the Indian economy on the right track. More importantly, it is time to create better employment opportunities in the country that will boost the educated youth. The BJP-led government must also take sincere steps to maintain a good rapport with our neighbouring countries.
