Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been criticised for his election campaign in Maharashtra instead of his being in Delhi to deal with the border situation. It is meaningless. We are living in an electronic age with so many means of communication available even to the common man, leave alone the prime minister. It does not matter whether he is in Timbuktu or Thane, for taking decisions on matters of state. He seems to have taken the wise decision to leave the matter to the army in dealing with the neighbour's aggression. Think of the disaster that followed after Jawaharlal Nehru gave ordered the Army in 1962 to throw the Chinese out of the Indian territory without knowing the ground reality that our defence forces were not well equipped to undertake the job.
