Every word in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech on Independence Day was full of vision and concern for society and the country. The biggest challenge is to change ourselves and move towards the direction in which Modi wants us to go. Take the case of manufacturing: will authorities help investors set up manufacturing units without any trouble? There are instances where successful industrial areas were closed due to to local politics or change of laws because of a change in government. Will all the state authorities respond to the statement with a positive frame of mind or will vote politics prevail? Keeping in view the results of the recent elections, one feels that the country has come out of communal- and caste-based politics and moved towards politics based on development.

How the new government will change the mindset of state authorities to understand the difference between a sevak and master will be very important.
