This refers to Sajjid Chinoy's article "Taking a reality check" (May 12). When Bill Clinton entered office in 1993, the US economy started revitalising even before he started his reforms. There's too much logic in the economic analysis of the article, but no philosophy. Economics is a rare subject, neither pure arts nor pure science but a combination of the two. And in the philosophy of economics, if people feel the economy will do better, the economy will do better. A true "reality check" can happen only by analysing both the aspects.
