<b>Letters:</b> Poor growth

After nearly 30 years, inflation rates have turned negative. Of course, no housewife will believe this since no prices have actually come down, so it is not clear how these inflation rates are calculated and where the government gets its data from. But if you believe the data is correct, how can the economic growth be as high as is being said? The government must increase spending in the budget and not increase taxes or prices of petrol and diesel.
