Everyone has something to advise Rahul Yadav - it could be that he ought to learn from Steve Jobs (Human Factor, July 3) or the essence of management, leadership, culture, systems etc. They are all correct too; Mr Shyamal Majumdar goes one step ahead and says that more than the shares he distributed, his employees would prefer a more stable environment. A Rajiv Bajaj called the demand for shares of his employees insane; and a couple of my very accomplished batchmates dismissed distributing shares as an owner's prerogative. Yet Rahul gave the shares without a thought for his own future or security. Business is about self interest, only self interest and Rahul is anything but interested in that. The great Apple's workers in Foxconn did not have seating space - so much for Steve Jobs.
Here's wishing Rahul the very best.
