This refers to your front-page headline “Anna was held guilty of misuse of trust funds” (August 16). I do respect that Business Standard’s editor does not appreciate Anna Hazare’s movement. But you would be abusing your influence by making a concerted attempt to tarnish his name over frivolity of technical misuse of funds of his trust, especially when the commission says it appears to be inadvertent.
I have no direct or indirect connections with Hazare and, like you, I may not completely support hunger strikes as means to make one’s demands heard. But it seems that you are wielding the pen against the wrong target in a desperate move to persuade your readers.
