This refers to the editorial "Behind AAP's sweep" (February 11). Arvind Kejriwal deserves to be congratulated on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)'s sweeping victory in the Delhi Assembly elections. Having said that, the young leader should realise that with power comes responsibility. In a democracy, one cannot always have one's way and instant justice often results in miscarriage of justice. Nor does justice to one section mean injustice to another.
'Robbing Peter to pay Paul' maybe good politics, but never good economics. One hopes AAP has learnt its lessons and provides a clean, corruption-free government to the people of Delhi this time around, eschewing dharna politics. As rightly pointed out, the party's aspiration should be to strive to be a viable alternative to the Bharatiya Janata Party at the national level.
