The judges have done well to make public the details of their assets, but the manner in which it has been done leaves a lot to be desired. Many of the properties listed have the acquisition prices, not the current value. No details have been given as to the date of acquisition of the said properties, nor have any disclosures been made of the assets held by their family members. Most of the judges were successful practicing counsels of various high courts and so it is expected they would have assets of a certain value.
