Apropos the edit “Mumbai’s message” (July 15), it is obvious that terrorists and extremists are attempting to sow the seeds of hatred and insecurity in the country. And the sad part is that it is always the innocent who are targeted. For the people of Mumbai, terror attacks and bomb blasts seem to have become a way of life.
What is equally disturbing is that a national tragedy of this magnitude is being exploited by some for sectional gains. Our leaders and politicians should display maturity and bring people together instead of indulging in blame game. Fanning hatred will be detrimental for all of us and it is only our unity that can act as a weapon to combat terrorism.
