Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech to the assembled scientists at the Indian Science Congress was well-received, if not calculated to hit too many headlines. Indeed, given the prime minister's well-known predilection for catchy abbreviations, some were surprised that nothing of the sort emerged from the speech. One journalist on Twitter may have identified the reason why. After all, the PM's primary instruction to India's scientists was the following: "dream, imagine, explore". And that, it turns out, has a rather unfortunate acronym: DIE.
