Bihar Excise and Prohibition Department's Principal Secretary K K Pathak is an angry man. A sub-inspector in his department was arrested for taking action against a ruling Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader, from whose house liquor was seized. Apparently displeased over the arrest he has proceeded on a long leave. Pathak played a key role in enforcing total prohibition in the state since April this year. The prohibition department team had allegedly recovered liquor from the house of Chandradeep Sen, a block-level president of JD-U, last month.
