The Congress party's attempts to hit the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government where it hurts gathered force with the party formally releasing a booklet on the six months of the new government and its litany of U-turns. While releasing the booklet, "6 Maheene Paar, U Turn Sarkar", the party's communication chief Ajay Maken took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi: "Modi ji has been prone to doing 'mann ki baat' when he said the government doesn't know about the quantum of black money stashed abroad. Modi ji please tell us when you made those tall election promises of bringing back black money and delivering Rs 15 lakh into every person's bank account, was that 'dimaag ki baat' aimed to fool people and win the elections?" He added for good measure: "Please do not forget pre-election promises, because the people will also forget you in days to come."
