Industry has been attacking the government for lack of policy reforms to drive growth, but government officials believe industry also deserves as much of the blame. “They think subsidies in the social sector are bad and should be phased out, but they want tax breaks and other incentives for themselves. On top of that they talk about corporate social responsibility. This is hypocrisy,” said a miffed official.
