For Union minister Jairam Ramesh, 70 may be a good age to retire from the Congress Party but Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Director Ranjit Sinha suggests that 60 could be a pretty good age to call it a day as well. Asked about the rampant delays in conducting prosecutions with more than a thousand cases under trial for more than a decade, Sinha, speaking at a Confederation of Indian Industry summit, said that if you are prosecuting a person over 60, by the time he is prosecuted, he or she is closer to god than a court sentence.
