Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar believes the Class XII topper scam is a blessing in disguise as it would help clean up the system. "Students topped without studying," he said. "But it is a godsend for cleansing and strengthening the system. We will make sure no one is able to do anything left or right here after the scam." He added that the scam should not be used to conclude that every student, who had passed the Intermediate Board examination in the state, had resorted to unfair means.
