 Why, their own private fleet of jets, of course! And so it is that the government has decided to order no fewer than five expensive, long-haul executive jets, emptying the exchequer of about Rs 700 crore, not to speak of maintenance costs to match.

 Originally, the proposal was to get the Prime Minister his own plane as well as a back-up, so that he could stop being a nuisance as when he borrowed 747s from Air India
