A reputed broadcasting firm gave out various awards earlier this year and, like most other organisations which give out such awards, had an independent jury. When one particular award was given out, however, the members of the jury realised that they had not discussed this one. Mails were exchanged between the organisers and the jury, until the jury was told that some awards were given without their being consulted.
