Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader M Venkaiah Naidu says there are some parties in Parliament on which the Congress can always depend for support. The relationship between these parties and the Congress in the House, follows a sequence: "talk out [ i.e. no talks] in the morning, walk out in the afternoon and bail out in the evening," he told a Telugu news channel. Naidu was explaining why his party supported the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill despite maintaining that some of its provisions were unconstitutional. As he pointed out, even without the BJP, the Congress would have managed to pass the Bill in Parliament with the support of these parties. In that case, the saffron party would have been accused of backing out on its stand to accord statehood to the Telangana region.
