Though Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is the UPA’s candidate for prime minister, not everyone is prepared to bet on it. At an informal gathering of media persons the other day, Urban Affairs Minister Jaipal Reddy said he expected the UPA to get between 245 and 255 seats, but refused to say that Singh would once again be nominated Prime Minister.
