Recently, Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde hosted lunches on two successive days for journalists and his officers. The journalists were offered a pure vegetarian Marathi menu while the lunch to the bureaucrats included non-vegetarian food. "Now you know who is more important," a bureaucrat later said.
