The prohibition issue of Bihar is making its reverberations felt in New Delhi. In a bid to enforce prohibition at Bihar Bhavan in the national capital, where liquor consumption is a common affair, an earnest junior official told his senior that they should install closed-circuit television cameras.

The senior wasn't impressed. He told the junior that the suggestion should be taken to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the champion of prohibition in the state, and now a crusader for it all over the country. The senior officer also reminded his junior that in New Delhi, consuming liquor was perfectly legal and there was nothing a prohibition advocate could do to stop it.
