A noted journalist whose name appeared in the infamous taped conversations of Niira Radia is trying to avoid appearing before the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament and depose on the 2G spectrum probe. PAC Chairman Murli Manohar Joshi reportedly requested him to come but the journalist argued that he has nothing to do with the 2G allocation and couldn’t offer any insights on the issue. But Joshi pointed out that the committee wanted to call him not as an accused but as a witness. Joshi reportedly told the journalist that he should come to “educate” the committee on the 2G spectrum allocation issue.
